How do you find out if an address is in a given precinct? layer?

Hi Folks!
Managed to install Nominatim and its working well.

I got hold of a precinct shapefile from NYC Open Data (https://data.cityofnewyork.us/Public-Safety/Police-Precincts/p6tc-6epw) and was wondering if I can use Nominatim’s search function to geocode an address, returning its precinct number as well.

Try to find contact to OSM user lonvia … she is more than envolved in all that Nominatim project.

Some hints can also be found if you go to our FAQ site http://help.openstreetmap.org and do a keyword search there for “Nominatim”
