How do I unreport something as spam?

I recently reported something as spam. On reflection, it probably isn’t.

It has a bit of an odd link it it, but that is somewhat on-topic. The content is a bit “somewhat on topic and somewhat not” (like spam), but on balance it’s probably a genuine reply.

How do I withdraw my report?

If I can’t do that and just need to message someone how do I find who to send a message to - how do I know who to send a message to about a report in https://community.openstreetmap.org/c/communities/uk/86?

I don’t know who will receive a notification. Probably all category moderators and the “global super-duper” moderators. In that case, a private message to both groups with a short note might help. I had already changed the link in the post to code markup and marked the message as “Rejected”.

How do I find out what is the “@” group to message for a particular forum?

(I mean I could probably figure it out by trawling through previous discussions, but how is someone unfamiliar with those support to find out?)

You can play Try&Error with typing @mods- and try different spellings for the category. For example:
@mods-uk

Or

Or scroll through the groups list: OpenStreetMap Community Forum

That stops after Norway?

The list ends for me with Netherlands, but it’s not really alphabeticaly. I didn’t program the forum :person_shrugging: so either one of the admins can help you further, or you’ll have to switch to the Discourse help forum.

Perhaps someone ought to document it somewhere?

I’ve updated the pinned items at the top of https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/about-the-help-and-support-category/41 and https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/about-the-tagging-help-support-category/4693 to allow people to easily contact the moderators of those categories if necessary. Perhaps it’d be a good idea to do the same globally?

It’s supposed to load more once you reach the end, just like most of Discourse. (It works as expected for me.)

Mentioned at https://meta.discourse.org/t/groups-search-does-not-show-all-groups/392334.

Edit: And apparently fixed in the next version.

A similar post is pinned at the top of the UK category. The moderator group is also linked there.

There is an option in your profile settings under Interface:

Automatically unpin topics when I have read their last post.

The check mark should be removed here.
