Hi, I am new here and wish to change the location of my flat in London on streetmap which is being mapped incorrectly by openstreetmap. This is causing problems and confusion as it is showing some obscure pinpoint on the map in sites such as Zoopla, Righmove who use openstreetmap data.
Am I personally able to change this via openstreetmap? I hope I am asking at the correct place.
Please advise. Many thanks Louise

Hi Louise, and welcome!
Yes, you are able to do this yourself.
https://learnosm.org should give you help how to get started, but basically logging-in on www.openstreetmap.org and clicking Edit
button in top-left corner will offer you a walkthrough of an in-browser iD editor, which is likely enough to allow you to fix the issue.
Feel free to mention in this thread if you’d like people to doublecheck if you’ve made some error afterwards, or if you need any help/guidance.
Pretty close - the right forum, but moderators will likely move the post to “Help and support” category. No worries, you’ll still get notifications on any answers and be able to find it and reply.

I’ve moved it - all previous links should still work of course.
