How can local business owners add tags for their business? Many are not tech-savvy and just need a simple interface.
I have written a few apps that filter on specific OSM tags. I’d like to encourage (thousands of) business owners to add these tags to their business nodes so my apps can discover them programmatically…
PotSpots - looks for shop:cannabis
RainbowSpots looks for lgbtq~primary|welcome|yes|friendly
It seems like a simple question, but I’m unable to find a definitive answer. Hopefully, some kind soul has posted such a tool. It would not only help get the tags added, but also raise awareness of mapping technologies beyond Google Maps and Apple Maps and help put OSM on the map!
