[HIGH_PRIORITY] Cannot upload data from JOSM to OSM

I’ve been trying to upload some data since yesterday using JOSM however all htat happens is the “Update” dialog states appears with “Uploading…” without appearing to do anything.

The number of changes is relatively small, less than 50, and I’ve left the dialog for good while (20 or more minutes).

The output on the command line from JOSM is as follows:

Communications with http://www.openstreetmap.org/api established using protocol version 0.6
PUT http://www.openstreetmap.org/api/0.6/changeset/create… OK
POST http://www.openstreetmap.org/api/0.6/changeset/1319162/upload…

I’m using JOSM version 1620.

I’ve made several updates to OSM in the past, but this is the first set of updates for the last month or so.

I think it happened because of the many locks on the database yesterday evening: http://munin.openstreetmap.org/openstreetmap/smaug.openstreetmap-pg_openstreetmap_locks.html

You should be able to upload without problems now.
