Hidden icons under My Location (undocumented)

There are icons under My Location
RegularGridIcon
that change the aspect of the map between regular and trapezoidal grids. These don’t appear to be documented. Is this a new feature that hasn’t been documented yet? They appear after pressing My Location but get hidden again when the location is moved.

FWIW. I got really confused about the appearance of the map being trapezoidal for some profiles and not others. It took me quite a while to work out why :slight_smile:

Which app is this, on which mobile OS?
(I assume Android, but the app is not evident)

It’s OsmAnd. Latest versions have a 2.5D feature.

Aha, yes. On cue, Android 4.3 auto-installed today. The two finger gesture to change the 2.5D viewing angle is new. It’s all good. If I’d waited until today I’d have seen it in the What’s New.
