OSM Nepal community is actively mapping and validating in different parts of Nepal and the world. For the discussion of different agendas and technical parts of mapping and validation on OSM, we are limited to our Facebook group and most of the people in the world don’t use Facebook that much.
Hence, I want to request everyone on this forum to help create an OSM Nepal category in this community forum so that a lot of mappers from Nepal could connect and discuss ideas with mappers around the whole world.

There are already quite a few requests piling up at https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/osm-nepal-category/99698. I think that this post is supposed to be able to tell you what you need to do to request a new category. I’m not one of the admins here, but it looks to me like everything there has been followed. I suspect that you’re just waiting for “it will be reviewed by a member of the @forums-governance once they have some time available.”
