Has the Standard Rendering of Wooded Areas Changed?

Am I imagining things, or is it only recently that we get little tree icons over wooded areas?

While I think they’re ok, I see lots of examples where its wrong. For instance, a local lake in a woodland park is blue, but covered in tree icons, as is the green grassy area nearby. Is there a solution to this?

Hi, if you’re talking about Rozelle Park it could be the way the multipolygons have been made. I’ve just rejigged the areas making one nested multipolygon of all the areas from the two incomplete multipolygons. It might take a while before the changes are properly rendered at all zoom levels. I think/hope I’ve got it correct as JOSM gave a wrong warning when I uploaded the changset.
