Sorry, if it is a FAQ but my forum-search was without result.
I want to use gosmore on my netbook (windows 7). So I took it from here: http://rational.co.za/gosmoreEarth/gosmoreWindows.zip.
It works without problem, if I use the Spain pak-file from http://www.nearhere.info/gosmorepak/.
But I am living in Berlin, so I build on my linux laptop (debian-testing) with gosmore a own pak-file from the Berlin-maps (http://download.geofabrik.de/osm/europe/germany/berlin.osm.bz2).
With that gosmore.pak there ist the error
“mmap problem. Pak file too big” and after klicking “ok”: “Pak file not found”.
This errors comes with the self-build gosmore.pak from andorra (which is smaller then Spain 
)
So I don’t know what to do. Any ideas, what I am doing wrong? I think, the problem ist sitting in front of the screen ;-).
