geoJSON file for boundary of Pecan Gap TX

Hello!

If the local GIS website doesn’t have a suitable file you could use the TIGER boundary data from US Census. That’s usually pretty good but will lag behind the local more up to date versions.

If you want the boundary as it exists in OSM here is the osm object that contains that info: Relation: ‪Pecan Gap‬ (‪6603659‬) | OpenStreetMap. You can use that in either JOSM or Overpass to get the full data.

Thanks for your reply. The information was helpful but I cannot find the information that I need. I am looking for a JSON file containing all of the coordinates that define the boundary identified in red. If the link to download the file is indicated on the page I am totally missing it.

TIA for your assistance.

@Kovoschiz has the better answer. Log on to the boundary website using your OSM account. Search for Pecan Gap and it shows up with a download button at the bottom.
