hello there!

I want to learn more about openstreetmap
For this I have some general questions…

How many developer are working with osm → how big is the developer-community worldwide?
Do you know how many developer compared to google maps are working with osm?
Do anybody know some companies already working with openstreetmap?

Could you please help me?

To know about the number of developers, read this forum, the mailinglists and have a look at the “recent changes” in the OSM wiki for some month. Then you will see who is involved in developing … which component of OpenStreetmap do you mean especially?
