Finding sports facilities on the OSM

Is it possible to find (or tag) sports facilities on the map? If they are not tagged on OSM, are there any other resources in Internet that can help to find them, e.g. find a tennis table around my home?
Here are some examples of such objects:

  • tennis table,
  • horizontal bar for pull-ups,
  • parallel bars,
  • football field.
    This is a nice use case for OSM, but I didn’t succeed in getting any information. Thanks for your help in advance!

You could try to use http://www.openstreetbrowser.org/ for this. If you’re a bit more advanced, then also http://overpass-turbo.eu/ might be suitable.

Maybe you find also some hints if you go to http://help.openstreetmap.org and do a search for “find poi” or similar.
