Feature suggestion for notifying about new notes/fixme requests

Hello :)

I’d love to have an option to be notified if someone creates a new note or fixme request in a specific area like this one I selected here. I think it could be very good to know about new issues if I have very good knowledge of that area. There could be multiple areas that you are watching and getting notifications for.

I am using WHODIDIT: OpenStreetMap Changeset Analyzer to generate a rss feed for an area of my interest. Feeder on android and Feedly on ios to read it.

You can create an RSS feed for new notes like https://api.openstreetmap.org/api/0.6/notes.rss?bbox=16.2635%2C48.1769%2C16.3002%2C48.2030&closed=-1&limit=100

You can configure it here: note-viewer

You can create another RSS feed for all new users in your area with: Create Your Personal OpenStreetMap Contributors Feed @ ResultMaps.neis-one.org
For example: https://resultmaps.neis-one.org/newestosmfeed?lon=16.29666&lat=48.18768&deg=0.05

I thought you can filter for fixme=* in OsmCha, but actually it’s not working for me. But in your area aren’t that much changesets, maybe it’s okay for you to check all changesets: OSMCha

Thanks, this seems both to be helpful to me!

I wrote this years ago and still use it. It creates Garmin-compatible GPX files, but they’re just text, so you could just create a file daily and diff it with yesterday’s.
