Export custom features by tag

Is it possible to export (programmatically?) just some features by their tag?

I need just the country boundary and some other features…

Please try the following:

Go to http://help.openstreetmap.org and type keywords like “export” or “download” or “boundary” in the searchbox …

maybe there are already some answers that come near your aims?

i see something… it sems that there is some “server side scripts”… that can be usefull…

anyway… i’ll hope that the country boundary will be connected to the coast line!
