Examples of adding aerial imagery from official sources?

I want to request permission (and API key) from a government body in Israel to use their very high-quality aerial imagery for OSM. My goal is to add it to the relevant databases so it shows up on iD, JOSM, Vespucci and any other editors.

In order to make the best case to get permission, I would like to show them examples of other cases around the world where either government bodies or companies gave permission. I would also like to see how this permission was obtained (who contacted them, what the email looked like if it was an email, etc.).

Can you point out examples I can use?

Thanks

Permissions - OpenStreetMap Wiki and Category:Images of data use permissions, rejections or requests - OpenStreetMap Wiki may or may not be helpful (many are about datasets, not aerials but it should be in general quite similar)

Bing Maps - OpenStreetMap Wiki and Esri - OpenStreetMap Wiki and Geoportal.gov.pl - OpenStreetMap Wiki are more aerial-specific (though rather about outcomes)

Vertical Aerial Photographs - OpenStreetMap Wiki may have more

Thank you @Mateusz_Konieczny, I will look into those.

For my own convenience, I’ll also leave these links here: Editor Layer Index - OpenStreetMap Wiki and editor-layer-index/FAQ.md at gh-pages · osmlab/editor-layer-index · GitHub

Have you discussed approaching the relevant authorities with the Israeli community at all?

Of course, I discussed it in the Telegram group. Most of the other mappers are doubtful that they will agree to give permission. I think it’s worth a shot at least.

I will probably draft that email next month (after some of my real life pressures subside) and share it with the community before sending it.
