May Updates:
State of the Map US (June 19-21, Boston)
- We’re only 38 days away from SotM US 2025! Get your one day, general admission, professional, or nonprofit/academic tickets here.
- OSM US recently launched a Public Service Fund to award conference scholarships to current and past government employees who have been affected by recent funding and staffing cuts. Once a significant portion of the goal is reached, we’ll open scholarship applications. Any remaining funds will go towards the operational costs of SotM US.
OSM & Geography’s 5 Themes Mappy Hour (May 21st at 8:00pm Eastern)
- For May’s Mappy Hour, Professor Bill Wetherholt will talk about using OSM to teach Geography’s 5 themes with an OSMCha demo from OSM US Software Engineer Jake Low. All are welcome, especially educators and students interested in bringing OSM to their classrooms. Registration is free!
June Updates:
State of the Map US (June 19-21, Boston)
- SotM US kicks off this Thursday! There’s still time to grab tickets, and swag is now live on the OSM US website in case you can’t make it to Boston (or just want more clothing with Captain Kraken on it).
