This user appears to be a newcomer. Unfortunately, he is not responding to comments, which can be seen in the Latest OSM discussions service: OSM changeset discussions of II V =

His changes were incorrect because, first of all, he rushed. Secondly, he did it incorrectly by not retaining the old_name in the data.

In my opinion, reverting his changes was justified.

There’s also another user, vorayo73, who is making similar edits with the same errors.
