Duration in route

Hi,

i want to use route service for better tracking, but got problem calculating duration.

So in response i have 4 points but how to get duration between points?
1 and 2
2 and 3
3 and 4

Doing that accurately, especially on a busy road, requires a level of detail about traffic flows that is just not available in a crowd sourced map. Road works and accidents, even some distance away, would require real time inputs.

For lightly used roads, with gentle curves, no crossings, and priority at junctions, use a combination of the maximum speed limit and teh total length of all the line segments.
