Does this warrant spltting the road at the end or keeping it as oneway=no?

I noticed that one of the roads that was previously made has now become a two way for most of it with the exception of the end where it splits off. Here is what it looks like right now:

Right now I’m re-doing the section and noticed that its two ways for most of it except at the end where there is paint that separates the in and out. This is how I mapped it:

Did i do it correctly? Is there anything else i may be missing?

Looks good to me…

Doesn’t quite look correct to me. This is obviously a minor issue, but painted islands do not normally justify splitting a way. This should be a single non-oneway way until the end.

I agree with @kadiwa. This painted “island” doesn’t warrant splitting the way at all. At most you could make it an area:highway=* of some sort but it doesn’t change anything about the basic layout of the intersection since it’s presumably only there to make it clear you’re not supposed to take a left out of the road to the left. I’d just ignore it.

Alright i’ll change it to two way since i already published the changes. Thanks for the info!

Correct, usually in OSM we require a physical separation. Just painting on the tarmac does not qualify as “dual carriage way”.

Exceptions might be out there, like if specific lane switchings are required for routing you the correct way. But I can’t see this in the shown case.
