Does OpenStreetMap support transpacific maps

We currently use OpenStreetMap for displaying Cruise ports. Most commonly used maps are transpacific maps.
One of the example transpacific map is : Auckland to Hawaii. OSM map displays Auckland on right hand side and Hawaii on the left most end travelling across the globe. Image of the map is here -http://forms.cruiseguru.com.au/images/OSMMap.png . This is not the expected behaviour. Could you please confirm if transpacific maps are supported?
Auckland and Hawaii should both display on the left hand side and should not travel around the globe.

Thanks

What you display is always your choice. Even osm.org doesn’t show “Auckland on right hand side and Hawaii on the left”.
Another maybe useful example: http://map.openseamap.org/.

That is a rendering library problem, not a OSM data “problem”.
If you use Leaflet, this may help:
