Does Europe have the most OpenStreetMap users?

I’ve opened a show GPS trace in the OSM map and it was mostly in Europe. Every single way has a GPS traces especially Russia. Do European like to use OpenStreetMap?

Openstreetmap began in Europe, to be more precise The UK.

In the early days we had no aerial imagery so one of the few tools we
had to map roads were GPS traces. This will explain the number and why
every road is recorded.

Its still a valuable method of mapping new roads and rural paths.
