Does access:lanes support any access values?

The documentation does not say explicitly if access:lanes (and by extension, vehicle:lanes, motor_vehicle:lanes, motorcar:lanes, hgv:lanes, bicycle:lanes, etc.) supports the full range of access values (beyond just yes, no and designated, also destination, permit, delivery, and maybe others), or only a subset. There is some use of destination for motor_vehicle:lanes:forward and motor_vehicle:lanes:backward according to TagInfo. Can I assume this value is valid/expected to be supported by apps for those tags (for example, for lane assist)?

If access=X is valid, then access:lanes=X is also valid. This is documented over at Lanes - OpenStreetMap Wiki

This suffix [:lanes] is applicable to any existing <key>=<value> tag pair

If it’s correct tagging, I don’t see a reason why apps shouldn’t be able to support it… Whether they do in practice is another matter.
