I’m trying to make a relation for a road name relation along many different individual road ways. Basically in the same way you would make a walking/cycle route, but for a road name instead. For example Ermine Street (Roman Road) in the UK. I’ve looked at this page: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Relation:route#Other_routes and it seems to suggest it is possible, and i’ve seen examples where it has been done for road reference number (eg ‘A14’). I did notice when i clicked on this though the relation was ‘not recognised’ since it wasn’t a cycle/long distance path/bus or train route etc, but nonetheless still worked. I can’t work out how to do this however - how to i create/edit a relation that is not one of those provided in potlatch already?
