Contribute to osm with the IPod touch - NOT the iphone.   ?.

Hello everyone,

im new to osm and trying to get geotracking/gps- apps to use with the ipod touch. I already checked the list in the wiki, but with most of those apps, when syncronising, i get the message “not compatible with ipod”. the only one which is working is the quite unprecise “instamapper gps tracker”. The hardware, if i got it right, is the same, so they should work, i assumed. Can anyone help me?

The iPod Touch doesn’t have GPS, so you can’t use iPhone GPS apps on it. The hardware isn’t the same.
