Hi, there have been some attempts at (re-)starting some regular meetups and other social activities in the Suisse Romande over the last couple of years, but they have never gained any traction. I would note that outside of the regular monthly event in Zürich (which is one of the longest running ones in all of OSM) the situation isn’t really any different in the German speaking part of the country.
I would point out that the international organisations (in particular the IFRC) in Geneva do have regular “humanitarian mapping” focused events, but they are naturally not focused on Switzerland.
With a different cap on: I send out welcome messages to every new OSM editor in the country, just as I’ve offered before: if there are any specific resources/events/etc that the French speaking community would like to have a mention in the text, I would be more than glad to include them.
And with yet another different cap on: SOSM would really welcome more active participation from the French speaking community and if there is anything we could do to support activities there we would be more than willing to do so.

Thank you for your reply and welcoming message. Indeed the french part of Switzerland is not really active. Let’s wait if my post may interest local people around Geneva.
