Olen tässä muutamankin kerran jo joutunut korjailemaan Suomen sisämaassa olevia coastline tägejä. Ne aiheuttavat renderöitivirheitä mitkä eivät aina välttämättä näy OSM carto:ssa. Ne näkyvät ikävästi esim. OsmAnd sovelluksessa missä suuria maa-alueita värjäytyy siniseksi.
Nyrkkisääntöhän on että coastline tägiä käytetään vain ja ainoastaan meren tai valtameren yhteydessä. Viimesin korjaukseni oli että eräs puro oli merkattu hyvinkin kokeneen kartoittajan toimesta coastline:ksi. Koittakaapa välttää noita virheitä, kiitos.

I’ve already had to fix a few times coastline tags in inland areas of Finland. They cause rendering errors that aren’t always visible e.g. in OSM Carto. They show up quite noticeably, for example, in the OsmAnd app, where large land areas turn blue.
The rule of thumb is that the coastline tag should be used only and exclusively in connection with the sea or ocean. My most recent fix was for a stream that had been tagged as coastline by a very experienced mapper. Please try to avoid those errors, thank you.
