Can somebody with more technical knowledge than me confirm that China’s disappearance from the map is merely temporary. Thanks!

I’m not sure what other information you’re looking for beyond what’s already been discussed in that GitHub discussion. You can easily discover for yourself that China has not disappeared from the data, so it’s a matter of a rendering issue with that one renderer.
