You mean your track? All of the roads you followed are already mapped so what you were trying to show?

He was being helpful. I tried doing something for the first time in the main OSM database.
I didn’t explain why I reverted the changeset because it was an unintended change, and the mapper asked for help, saying he didn’t know what he had done.
Dragging a node by mistake isn’t a big deal. It happens often, even to experienced mappers.
Just undo it and try again. Happy mapping!

I don’t know what nodes are. I’m not a technical person and do not understand any of the technicalities involved as yet.
Nodes are elements of OSM. Put simply, they are the “points” that appear on the map.
In OSM there are three types of elements: nodes, ways and relations. You can find information about this on the beginner’s guide.
Edit the map as you go along and learn. And don’t be afraid of making mistakes.
