I am currently working in a scientific project and I am trying to upoad and fix the provided polygons on osm for different national parks within europe. I have the correct shapefiles for the different areas, but I can’t change the existing polygons. As I am trying to upload them I get the error code 429 for too much changes. Can somebody help me with that?
The import process is described here - you’ll need to explain what you’re trying to do first and discuss it before doing it.
Also, once you’ve been through the steps there, please wait until someone has tidied up after https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/156674972 before trying again.
The best way to “tidy up” that mess is to revert it, until it’s properly tested and retried. Instead of a single tagged way or relation, the changeset contained 1000 nodes with 7 tags each.
