does someone know the current official status of the number of regions (provinces) in Chad and their exact boundaries ?
Since 2012 Chad is devided into 23 regions, but OSM / Wikipedia:en / Wikipedia:de show different boundaries between the regions (see border of Tibesti - Borkou - region for example).
Wikipedia:fr indicates ( https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/R%C3%A9gion_du_Tchad ) that from 2017 the number of regions will be reduced from 23 to 12 within 5 years.
What about the administrative boundary structure in wikidata.org?

Auch in Wikidata ist die Aufzählung der Regionen veraltet, da die 2012 erfolgte Aufspaltung von Ennedi in Ennedi West und Ennedi Ost noch nicht vermerkt ist. Siehe https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verwaltungsgliederung_des_Tschad.
Ich habe noch nicht herausgefunden, ob die 2017 angedachte Reduzierung der 23 Regionen auf 12 Regionen gar nicht / teilweise / gänzlich umgesetzt wurde. Siehe dazu: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/R%C3%A9gion_du_Tchad
