Hi, I am using CAPAD 2024 to update protected areas in NSW and the sites in the top grouping are included for the first time in CAPAD in 2024 and have an iucn code.
Of these new CAPAD additions, I noticed that in OSM, Aboriginal Areas and Historic Sites mostly have protect_class of 22 and none have iucn codes.
As CAPAD has iucn values for these, should I use the iucn values to create protect_class as appears to have been done for last few in the table?
That would be due to them not having a IUCN Category in the NPWS Estate dataset when they were imported. I just checked Snake River and it was still classed as AA in 2023, but is III in the 2025v3 version.
TLDR; Just update them to what they are now.
