Can someone in the community with DWG access either delete or hide a note that I mistakenly added to the public map?

Hi -

I searched the forum and wiki and was unable to find a resolution to this issue.

I mistakenly added the note shown HERE

Can someone in the community either delete or remove this note?

FYI: THIS WIKI ENTRY suggests that DWG access is needed.

BTW: I am a noobie trying out features and thought that I would be able to remove a note myself. I was unable to find anyway to do that.

You can contact the DWG at data@openstreetmap.org. But for that note, if there’s no private details, someone can just mark it as complete and leave it.

As someone mentioned in the note’s comments, it will disappear after a week once marked resolved and closed.

Also - welcome to OpenStreetMap! Don’t feel too bad - everyone makes mistakes and in this case, there’s truly no real harm done. :slight_smile: Happy mapping!
