The title says it all but here are more details. First, I’m trying to use JOSM but I need to view some YouTube videos so I’m using iD. I went to OpenDroneMaps and figured out how to use ODM via Docker on my 48 images which yielded one image that I uploaded to OpenAerialMaps. Then (as promised) I could click a link to show me that new image in iD and it was laid out beautifully. Really cool stuff here. My applause to everyone who has contributed to these projects.
Anyhow… since this was my first time, when I took the drone shots, I also walked with around the inner circle of the streets I wanted to add and created a GPS track which I uploaded to OSM as Identifiable. But I couldn’t figure out how to view both the new image and the new GPS track at the same time. The reason was a type of sanity check for the location of drone images. Thus the question: How do I view both at the same time? And, I suppose a more general question is how do I add images from OpenAerialMaps or more than one GPS track while editiing?
If the answer is “Use JOSM”… that’s fine. I’ll go learn it. When I started JOSM, download the small section of OSM of the area I was working on, and then added the orthophoto image that ODM produced, I could see the image and nothing else and I couldn’t figure out what was going on… Some YT tutorials will likely help.
