I am looking for an appartement and I would like to use Open Street Map. Is it possible ?
And after, can I keep my research as long as I want ?

What exactly do you want to use OSM for? If you want to take a look at the area around your potential apartments, you can use openstreetmap.org or one of the many other apps that show you OSM data on a map.

If you want to create a map of all your potential apartments, then (as mentioned above) you can use uMap to create a map with your own personal data on top of it.
