Sometimes business owners will use OSM to advertise their business. For example:
They added a node, added tags such as name, website, phone number… but also added the opening hours of 7am-7pm. This location is listed on their website as a mailing address only, and the “hours” are not present. In reality, these hours are probably the time in which they will respond to phone calls.
I’ve seen plenty of other cases like this, where there’s a business that adds themselves to OSM, or posts a note, or uses onosm.org, and either includes no hours, or includes clearly fabricated “opening hours” when it’s meant to be a business you call/mail/email, not visit in person. Are businesses like this OK to add to OSM, when it’s not a place you’re expected to visit in person?
EDIT: I have added a note to the map for any surveyor to check for a sign. I don’t live anywhere near there, so that’s the best I can do, as there’s not any street level imagery I can use.
