Bulk editing questions

I am a new OSM contributor and I have been using iD, however I noticed on the eastern end of Hamilton, ON, CA (near stoney creek) there is a lot of missing building, I am wondering what the best way of adding these would be, should I use a different editor such as JOSM, should I use Rapid.

Also is JOSM a better editor for bulk editing in general?

For bulk hand drawing of building outlines, there’s no policy restrictions, just work in sensible contiguous chunks, and start slow and be ready to respond to mistakes that other mappers notice.
