Broken communication with the Communications Working Group

On February 2, I sent a email to communication [at] osmfoundation.org with an offer to translate active contributor membership form

Since there was no response, today I sent ping-message, to which Rebecca Firth (who is listed in former working group members Communication Working Group - OpenStreetMap Foundation) probably auto-replyed me to write to the other people from HOT (which are not included in the communications working group)

Can someone from the working group clean up the mess a little?

You should probably address your offer to the Membership Working Group.

For this form, talk to @Doro8ea please. dorothea at osmfoundation.org

Thank you. I suspect that after this message, she replied to my message:) But this is what concerns my original letter.

@Doro8ea What happens to the emails that are currently being sent to this email? Are they definitely not lost because they still come to people who are no longer participating in the CWG?

Hi @TrickyFoxy

Emails to communication@ are automatically distributed to the email addresses of all Communication Working Group (CWG) volunteers.

Regarding the auto-reply from a former CWG member
The CWG did a clean-up of the CWG members’ list on the OSMF website around 6 months ago, and some members were set as former members, including the one you got the auto-reply from. However, their email addresses remained on the communication@ mailing list. I do not know if these former members explicitly asked to remain on the communication@ mailing list or not, so I asked internally.

We’re going to clean up the mailing list and remove the account with the auto-reply, Rebecca is not an active member
