I work in the City Transport team at Bristol City Council. We sometimes use OpenStreetMap data and it would be helpful to have the Ward boundaries updated with the latest data, something which I am unsure how to do myself. The “boundary” tag on many of Bristol’s Ward boundaries were deprecated around 3 months ago.
Latest Ward boundary dataset can be found on Bristol Open Data and downloaded in CSV, Shapefile, GeoJSON and KML formats.
User @Colin_Smale does quite a lot with boundaries, including the old ward boundaries, so hopefully tagging him here will help him see this (and comment).
Thank you for the speedy reply. The ward boundaries are licenced under the Open Government Licence v3.0, which if my sources are correct is OSM compatible. The licence is viewable on the Bristol Open Data page for the ward boundaries in my original post. Here are the sources I read to find out if the Open Government Licence is compatible with OpenStreetMap.
