I’ve just read about this on Germanys biggest news station: The so called “Ballerman”, essentially Mallorca (i hope i’m spelling it correctly) was being renamed to “Betrunkene” (which means drunk in english). It would be great to kick/ban the people who renamed it that way.
Hi. You can revert these edits yourself immediately if you see them and you can and should write an email to data@openstreetmap.org detailing your findings so the vandals can be blocked.
Writing here will take much longer to reach the right people.
The osm-revert tool is unresponsive (well, the overpass api is, but without that I cant use the osm-revert tool). Could someone else with some other tool maybe revert these changesets? That would be great.
You can use the josm reverter plugin for example. I’ve done that now to revert all the changes by that user from today, they were all vandalism: Changeset: 180970432 | OpenStreetMap
Did you already send a vandalism report to the DWG? There’s also a report option in the OSM user page that you can use.
The past edits by that user also look potentially questionable and have already attracted a few critical comments and reverts regarding name tags.

The news said that the name of the city “El Arenal” changed on Apple Maps to “Betrunkene” and that its unkown why. It also mentioned that this affects Apple Weather as well and that such changes normally need to be checked by Apple.
Heres the post: https://www.instagram.com/tagesschau/p/DWzWu9SCujY/
(Oh and edit: I now deleted my comment to not attract more people)
Can’t say if it’s really known by that name, but the German name being tagged as int_name=* is… questionable at best. Apparently it’s been like that for 15 years.
(Adding it to the name=* tag like in the recent linked changeset is obviously wrong)
While this is a different user name to the originally mentioned mapper, this mapper has already had a similar change reverted a week ago, also referring to “Betrunkene”.
