I hope this message finds you well. I am announcing a new MapRoulette challenge for the community, aimed at improving Point of Interest (POI) data. I’d appreciate your feedback on whether this initiative adds value to the map especially for routing and search.
The challenge is called Belgium - Missing Name Tag on POIs.
It focuses on identifying and completing POIs that are missing name information, helping make the map more complete and searchable.
Tasks were generated by filtering all POI nodes and polygons in OSM that lack the name=* field. If you find a task that’s already fixed or doesn’t actually require an edit, please mark it as “Already Fixed” or “Not an Issue” as appropriate.
Your feedback is always appreciated.
P.S: This challenge is for experienced mappers and may be difficult for beginners.
