Bealls - shop=department_store or shop=clothes?

there is number of shop=clothes Bealls shops, say Node: ‪Bealls‬ (‪11520761173‬) | OpenStreetMap (26 of them overpass turbo )

NSI claims that all are shop=department_store

Is NSI wrong? Is NSI right and they should be retagged?

I have zero local knowledge and was not fully convinced to make remote editing just based on their website, but NSI looks reasonable here.

(spotted in logs of my processing tool - let me know if I should not bother community with such things)

I’ve never been inside Bealls, but it looks like a clothing-focused discount department store to me. We don’t have a dedicated tag for discount department stores but tend to use shop=department_store as the next best thing. Compare with Ross and Marshalls.

By the way, there used to be two unrelated Bealls chains. The Texas chain liquidated in 2020, closing all their stores. Their operating territory overlaps with where the Florida chain currently operates.
