I am trying to get data from ;
https://api.openstreetmap.org/api/0.6/map?bbox=15.361,46.954,15.494,47.022
But it says its huge data , Over 50000 node. I try to install latest map from austria but strangely I can not find it on that data. OSM advice to use plane.osm but that data is quite huge. Whats your suggestion?
Do you need the whole complete OSM data for a specific area?
Or just “filtered” data that consistst of certain key/value pairs?
What does it mean: “I try to install latest map …” ?
You can try geofabrik for downloads of countries : http://download.geofabrik.de/index.html
or https://extract.bbbike.org/ for smaller extracts of bounding boxes or polygons
