mass adding such note requires going through and following Automated Edits code of conduct - OpenStreetMap Wiki
Reverting such edit in violation of this rules (especially ones completely not consulted with community) can be reverted with no discussion, on sight. Discussing it first is typically a good idea to avoid reverting something that was actually discussed.
EDIT: sorry, I posted without noticing that thread is closed. If anyone is wondering how it is possible: I am moderator on Poland subforum and due to technical limitations/configuration it seems to result in ignoring locked posts across entire forum.
