An anonymous person has just added ~200 Notes into Arnhem Land area: OpenStreetMap (OSM) note activities for Australia @ ResultMaps.neis-one.org
Do we take them at face value & add them as legitimate, or delete them as we don’t know the source?
I’m guessing that the same person also wanted to add names to all the internal streets in Robertson Barracks in Darwin a few days ago, but said they copied them all from NTLIS, which we can’t use.
I tend to be a little wary of anonymous map notes like these. They do look like someone trying to licence wash data.

Yeah. I remember that a few years ago, we had a similar thing with a heap of anon Notes appearing right across the NT, that were then wiped as apparently being from a dodgy source.
Agreed. I would err on the side of caution and close all these notes.

Which not only drops the number of open Notes down <1000, but it’s right down to ~860!
