advice on how to render cycle map for Garmin

Hi

I’ve been playing with GroundTruth, rendering my own cycle maps from openstreetmap.
I’ve successfully created small maps of parts of the UK (South Wales) and loaded them into mapsource.

When i try to make a map of the whole of the UK, it fails on the rendering.

Can anyone offer some advice on how to create a cycle map for the whole of the UK?
what software, techniques etc…

any links to “HOW TOs” ?

You already have a thread about this, please don’t start new threads with the same question. Apparently there is noone here that can help with this question. Perhaps you should try the wiki talk page of groundtruth, the osm irc or the mailinglist(s).
