Addition of a hotel resort to the platform

Hello OSM Community,

I seek the support of a more experienced mapper to add Hilton Quang Hanh Onsen Resort, which opened doors on Feb 12, 2026, to the platform.

The resort is located at the following location, and I seek assistance with reflecting it on the platform the same way another Hilton hotel already is, where each villa is drawn within the resort’s borders. A more crisp satellite view is available on Google Maps.

Since I am unfamiliar with the Remote Control (JOSM, Potlatch, Merkaartor) edit options, which, to my knowledge, are usually used for such updates, I would greatly appreciate a helping hand with adding the property to OpenStreetMap.

Please keep in mind that Google imagery can’t be used as imagery source.
However, for the place Mapbox Satellite (available in iD or JOSM for instance, see imagery extract below) can be used and this imagery is recent enough.
JOSM has a steeper learning curve (with good training stuff available online), with plugins can make you more productive than with iD.
You can follow the given example to make good mapping and we can check, so that you’re more autonomous to update other resorts.
