I mentioned something similar to @SomeoneElse at one point, but from time to time I am seeing inappropriate content in tags, changeset comments, etc. The content can be contact details (including of third parties), other personal information, work information and ‘dubious’ internet links.
While the content can be deleted from current views, it remains visible in histories. However, the likes of the DWG can do redactions.
This page Note: 1738801 | OpenStreetMap has a “report this note” link. I’m wondering if a similar link could be added to the likes of these pages:
I suppose this applies to any page with user-generated content (and sometimes to admin-generated content 
).
At the time the moderation/reporting support was done this was deliberately not added. However there is even a draft PR to do so Report changesets by AntonKhorev · Pull Request #4370 · openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website · GitHub
The problem is mainly the misuse potential in making this available.

Judging by how note report is being misunderstood I have to agree. Reporting a note is meant for when merely closing a note is not enough, such as posting personal information or any otherwise illegal content such as hate speech or threats.

You’re correct that (like all features like this) there is a potential for misuse, but my recollection is that the GSOC project just ran out of time.
