adding comments to history

Newbie question…
How do you add comments to the editing you have done so others can see what your session has been about. I see others add comments but can’t find the way to do so.

If you use the JOSM editor you can add a comment when uploading your changes. For ease of editing the Potlatch editor skips this step.

You can press “c” in Potlatch to close your changeset and add details of what you’ve been doing.
