Good morning,
I added two places that were not showing in the map (an ice cream shop and a restaurant in Osaka). That was 2 days ago, yet the map seems not to be updated and I’m wondering why.
I used open street map editor in my laptop. I’ve deleted the map and downloaded it again, but the places are not showing.
Any help?

And there is the always important question. Which “the map” do you mean?

It would have been helpful to mention that at the start.
Most apps designed for offline use, including Organic Maps, don’t update in real time or anything close to it. A frequency of roughly monthly is common. So edits won’t appear immediately in these apps.
If you switch to CoMaps you get roughly weekly updates. But don’t expect “free” projects to run their servers at full capacity just so the user gets live updates
