Just going to change to summer tyres on our car in a couple of minutes and I noticed that somehow we’ve never resurveyed and changed the former Adam Touring (and Pneu Egger) locations to BestDrive. The rebranding happed something like three years ago and should really be reflected in our data.
There are 7 Adam Touring locations and 14 or so Pneu Egger that I can find with OSM right now, all these should be checked (I’ll do Dietikon/Schlieren and Urdorf this afternoon).

Some what disappointing that a really small number of POIs is taking so long to update.
We don’t have enough people outside and/or not a good system to focus on what’s really important..
For what it’s worth, I just took a detour to visit the former Pneu Egger location in Münchenstein and will update the data shortly 
So, one to-do down!
Not to start an argument, but: I did not read the previous posts in this thread as immediate-call-to-action type of posts about an issue that warranted more urgency than updating any other type of POI… Was that your intention?
And, from my personal perspective, focusing on what’s really important (with regard to OSM) will definitely lead to working on anything but car-related services/infrastructure… Just my two cents :)

Von daher könnten wohl alle Filialen umgelabelt werden.
Aber ich würde das auch gleich zur Qualitätssicherung nutzen und alle gemappten Filialen überprüfen.
Ich habe eine ähnliche Aktion in leicht grösserem Unfang vor Kurzem in Schweden mit allen ehemaligen Shell-Tankstellen durchgeführt.
Wenn das für euch in Ordnung ist würde ich das im Verlauf der nächsten Wochen mit einem ähnlichen Workflow auch hier machen.
Ob wichtig oder nicht ist immer eine Ansichtssache (für mich persönlich wären die absolut unwichtig da keine Filiale in meiner näheren Umgebung) aber wenn etwas auffällt sollte durchaus darauf hingewiesen werden und mal nett nachhaken schadet auch nichts.
Geniesst das schöne Wetter über Pfingsten und schaut euch draussen um was dann bei schlechterem Wetter mal wieder am PC erledigt werden könnte…

Es ist erledigt. 
Einzelne Filialen sind in der Zwischenzeit verschwunden, die habe ich gelöscht oder auf ihren aktuellen Zustand (Betreiber) geändert sofern feststellbar.
Particularly with POIs the importance for OSM is independent of if oneself is interested in / uses / doesn’t want it to exist. and so on. If we want to have a remote chance of being an alternative to the existing monopolies there is no other way. Not the least because our licence doesn’t allow for the geospatials industry “normal” way of dealing with incomplete datasets (using multiple datasets and deduplication).
Deshalb war und ist eine einfache Umbenennung (wie auch bei praktisch jede anderen Übernahme) nicht sinnvoll.
